Excellent performance in compressor lubricants

Lubrizol develops and markets synthetic-based compressor lubricants for use with non-CFC refrigerants in air conditioning systems and refrigeration compressor applications. In December of 1996, Lubrizol acquired CPI Engineering Services, Inc., headquartered in Midland, Michigan. CPI is a formulator of specialty synthetic lubricants used by original equipment manufacturers in air, refrigeration and other compressors.

Performance packages

Lubrizol has a variety of zinc-based and ashless performance packages for a full range of air compressors. They provide long oxidative life, rust and corrosion protection, excellent anti-wear performance, reduced deposit formation, enhanced demulsibility and good foam inhibition. All are compatible with napthenic base oils.
